The instant we turned the corner of Cabot Circus in Bristol and saw this Foyles bookshop, I was like a kid in a sweetshop. The folded patinated copper! the Punctured asymmetrical windows of gold and red, and a flying glass roof!

Hold. Me. Back.

what an absolute treat to be able to draw this stunning piece of contemporary architecture. (an experience in no way dampened by my fidgeting, clock-watching, book-laden husband, panicking about our train - which we made with nearly two whole minutes to spare)
