after hauling ourselves up the hill to Clifton Village, Callum nipped into their local waterstones to drop off an advance copy of his book, while I stood furiously drawing this grand, classic elevation (despite the series of very helpful work vans that kept parking up in front of me!). There was something tremendously satisfying about the proportions of glass to stone, the scale of the sandstone blocks vs the areas of detailing. something that was only accentuated when i started working in with colour.
