There’s something about a stressful location, an absolutely gigantic building and a tiny sketchbook that brings out the best in me!

in much the same vein as my (vast/stressful/sun-baked) leeds waterstones sketch, this sketch worked better than i could have imagined - as i stood with my neck craned up at the sheer scale of the place! Both were drawn with a hammering heart and a rising sense of things not working out. but when I brought them home, flooded and dragged the paint and pencil over them, something unexpected happened: I began to fall in love with these architectural giants.
